Meet Our Experienced Dentists at Kedron

Dr Zaheer is an experienced implant and cosmetic dentist at Kedron Family Dental who devotes himself to researching and providing modern dentistry for his patients.
He completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland and is a GIDE Master Clinician in Implants from Loma Linda University. After graduation, he trained in all aspects of general dentistry and has worked in regional Queensland, Perth and Brisbane. Dr Zaheer has chosen to focus on all teeth replacement, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, smile design and wisdom tooth removal.
Dr Zaheer has placed over 4000 implants across Australia and has trained with experienced clinicians in Australia, Colombia, Croatia, South Africa and the USA. Since 2020, Dr Zaheer has mentored junior dentists in the fields of implant and surgical dentistry. He is dedicated to the profession and is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID). Additionally, he has attained a Mastership from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Outside of the clinic Dr. Zaheer enjoys hiking on nature trails, rock climbing and trying new restaurants and cuisines.

Dr Jamila (Milly) is an experienced general dentist with a passion for providing dedicated care to her local Brisbane community. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (First Class Honours) from the University of Queensland and has since pursued advanced training in aesthetic and restorative dentistry, as well as dental implants. Additionally, she has attained a Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Known for her gentle and compassionate approach, Dr Milly strives to create a relaxed and comfortable environment for all her patients. She understands that visiting the dentist can be intimidating for some, and she works hard to ensure every patient feels at ease throughout their treatment. Her commitment is to deliver thorough, patient-focused care with a focus on results tailored to each patient.
When she’s not at the practice, Milly enjoys exploring Brisbane’s vibrant food scene, escaping to the beach for weekend getaways, and staying active with new sporting challenges.
Dr Kent grew up in the Gold Coast, and graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) with First Class. He has practised across Brisbane and Regional Queensland over the years such as Rockhampton, St George, Kingaroy, Stanthorpe and Warwick.
His interests lie in the whole spectrum of general dentistry, with a focus on preventative treatment and oral surgery. Kent provides surgical dental treatment, including for patients under IV sedation, and has completed additional training in fundamental and advanced implant fellowships.
Outside of work, he enjoys catching up with friends and family. He likes to maintain his fitness through tennis, badminton and running, as well as reading and volunteering his time for dental organisations.

Are you able to handle dental emergencies?
Kedron Family Dental is well-prepared to address dental emergencies. If you experience a dental emergency during our regular clinic hours, please reach out to us immediately. We will provide guidance on essential steps to take and schedule an emergency appointment.
We don’t offer after-hours care. If you have a dental emergency outside clinic hours, call us when we next open and we will arrange an appointment as soon as practicable. If you have severe facial swelling, uncontrolled bleeding, or difficulty breathing or swallowing, go to your nearest hospital emergency department or call 000.
How do you address the needs of patients dealing with dental anxiety?
At Kedron Family Dental, we understand the challenges of dental anxiety. One option is sleep dentistry, which uses sedation to help you feel more relaxed during treatment. Sedation is not the same as a general anaesthetic, and you may still be partly aware.Â
