At Central Smiles we believe that preventative dental care is the corner stone of a healthy mouth, gums and teeth and as suchencourage patients to come see us at least every 6 months for a comprehensive check-up, cleaning and if required x-rays, fissure sealants and fluoride treatment.

We advise our patients to have regular check-ups to detect problems before they cause much larger issues which can be potentially painful and incapacitating. For example, gum disease precursors, such as bad breath and bleeding gums, recognised and treated early can avoid future pain and loss of teeth. Similarly, tooth decayidentified and treated early can avoid future pain, need for root canal treatment or extractions.

At these check-up appointments our Teamwillalso sit you down and talk you through any treatment required, answer any concerns you may have and let u know if there are any areas that may cause future problems but don’t necessarily need treatment immediately. Following these check-ups, and if required, a detailed printed treatment plan with associated costs will be given to you.
