Fissure sealants are a tooth coloured protective coating applied to the tops of teeth, usually molars, to prevent decay. Decay can easily form in deep pits and grooves in teeth that are too small to clean effectively with a toothbrush. Usually no drilling or injections are required for this simple, preventive procedure.

Dr Kyle and Alex Tsikleas are able to diagnose and provide the treatment for fissure sealants. Because fissure sealants are most regularly prescribed for children, we are happy to provide after school appointments.
